Constructive General Neron Desingularization for one dimensional local rings

An algorithmic proof of General Neron Desingularization is given here for one dimensional local rings and it is implemented in Singular. Also a theorem recalling Greenberg’ strong approximation theorem is presented for one dimensional local rings.

On K2 of 1-dimensional local rings

We study K2 of one-dimensional local domains over a field of characterstic 0, introduce a conjecture, and show that this conjecture implies Geller’s conjecture. We also show that Berger’s conjecture implies Geller’s conjecture, and hence verify it in many new cases.

One-dimensional differential Hardy inequality

We establish necessary and sufficient conditions for the one-dimensional differential Hardy inequality to hold, including the overdetermined case. The solution is given in terms different from those of the known results. Moreover, the least constant for this inequality is estimated.

Local Cohomology over Homogeneous Rings with One-dimensional Local Base Ring

Let R = ⊕ n≥0 Rn be a homogeneous Noetherian ring with local base ring (R0,m0) and let M be a finitely generated graded R-module. Let Hi R+ (M) be the i-th local cohomology module of M with respect to R+ := ⊕ n>0 Rn. If dimR0 ≤ 1, the R-modules Γm0R(H R+ (M)), (0 :Hi R+ (M) m0) and Hi R+ (M)/m0H i R+ (M) are Artinian for all i ∈ N0. As a consequence, much can be said on the asymptotic behaviour...
